“Overall, the house was great. Small added touches of coffee, hot chocolate, creamer and small "forgetful items" in the bathrooms was very considerate.The lake "toys" provided enjoyment for the entire family, regardless of age. Kayak was nice and lake was calm making it use very enjoyable. ** we did lose one oar with black end, it floated until we got to it, then sank. Also lost orange ball but replaced it with red one.The large deck in the rear of the house allowed for entire group to sit and……

“We enjoyed the stay so much. There were a few hiccups, and due to the heat the house could greatly benefit from upgraded AC but we would definitely come stay again. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and we were close to everything we needed. ”

“Mark is an amazing host. Excellent communication. Breakfast items left specifically for us in the fridge were a most appreciated gift. Kitchen had everything we needed. Those considering the property should know that the two bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs. Beds were comfortable and both rooms had ample space. Instructions for tv use and streaming services were clear and easy to find. Neighborhood is a bit rundown but we did not feel at all unsafe.”

“Property was just as described. We had everything we needed. The carport was a big bonus for us because it was raining heavily throughout our stay, and we appreciated staying dry while loading/unloading our vehicle. Owner responds quickly to questions. Location was great for us Decatur natives with proximity to grocery stores, big box stores, restaurants, parks and banks. It was even close to the funeral home we were using. Neighborhood was quiet. HVAC system and water heating were also great.”
