“We have just returned from our first visit to Sani Dunes having previously been to Ikos. In our opinion Sani knocks spots off Ikos and we cannot recommend this fabulous resort highly enough. “Das Hotel hat einen tollen Pool und direkten Zugang zum Strand. Wir waren am Pool nahezu alleine. Die Poolbar hatte tagsüber einige Getränke und die Speisen im Restaurant waren lecker! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Wenn man vor Ort ist, sollte man auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug zum Olymp einplanen. Geschäfte und Restaurants sind ca 5 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Etwas gestört haben die vielen Schulklassen / Jugendgruppen die im Hotel untergebracht waren, das……

“Pics are deceiving… the pool was closed at 6 pm, not 7 as they say. The beach is accessible through a steep hill (no stairs) and the elderly will barely make it. Resort needs more renovations. Nothing but small towns/villages around, no walking paths. You’re pretty much locked in the hotel. Food was good but the choice was limited like in Cuban hotels. No evening entertainment programs. Maybe I’m spoiled by Dominican resorts… however I’ve been to all inclusive properties, I can compare, and this……

“Excellent front office staff, very polite and helpful. Comfortable, spacious room, modern and very clean at arrival. Minor improvements (i.e. sink almost blocked) would make it perfect. Soundproof, you could hear nothing from adjoining rooms or corridor. Close to the city center (10-15 min walk). Only minus was that during a 3 night stay the room was never cleaned, even though I have placed the relevant request on the door handle (only the garbage were collected) ”
