“Such a wonderful experience, vs the hotel on our way down to our vacation. Beds were comfortable, staff very helpful. Our TV remote didn't work well. Called the front desk and they brought up fresh batteries. Problem solved. ”

“The first thing I noticed was everything you see when you arrive is geared towards making you feel welcome. This continued with checking in. Fast, friendly and helpful. The whole experience continued through the whole stay. We got several texts asking how we were enjoying our time and asking if we needed anything just ask. Small details that stand apart from others. Thank you for the great stay. We'll be back. ”

“The hotel is beautiful in a large estate-like property so it is very grand. The area is quiet but close to the town. You can walk to town (about 12 minute walk). The room was small (we got the classic room) but comfortable since we didn't spent much time there as we were in town most of the day. I would stay there again. It has great history.”

“Our stay was part of a week long trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough great things about our stay- our room was comfortable and cozy- the entire inn and staff are perfect for a quiet getaway and we didn’t want to leave. Food is excellent and many fun things to do close by including wineries and historic places and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly recommend- Brenda and Kevin are amazing hosts and people. We will be back!! ”
