“Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The property is located on a hilltop with beautiful views, and each room had excellent cold air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the Texas heat.A couple of things to note: the gravel road and driveway can be a bit rough if you're driving a low-clearance vehicle—an SUV handles it much better. Also, if you park on the lower driveway, be prepared for a lot of stairs to reach the house. It’s manageable, but something to keep in mind if mobility is a……

“I cannot recommend Camp Sandy enough. We had the most wonderful stay, and David was the greatest host. He accommodated us with an early check in, late check out, and even sent us cookies during our stay. The grounds are so beautiful, and there are so many things to do. We had a group of 19 adults, and everyone had a blast playing volleyball, pickleball, swimming, kayaking, playing pool, and hanging out. We can’t wait to come back. ”
