“The cottage was certainly stocked with everything we needed which was much appreciated. Our only suggestion is that some of the items in the fridge should be reviewed and thrown out. ”

The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience.”

“Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”

“Mom & daughter spent a lovely week at the Sunrise Cottage. It was smaller than we expected but comfortable, peaceful and well-equipped. We could see that the host puts a lot of time and effort into gardening and beautifying the property and we really enjoyed the beautiful flowers all around. The host was very welcoming and helpful and was readily available to help with anything we asked for. The park pass was a real bonus for us. “We were not there much because we had a family wedding on Saturday, but we did enjoy the peacefulness and the view of the lake as well as a well supplied cottage my only complaint was the coffee pot. It needs to have some vinegar run through it because it’s quite clogged up and took forever to make coffee other than that. Everything was great.”

All the fun you can handle from outdoor picnic tables , fire pit area lit with lights Two separate lounging decks and a huge dock with ladder to access the lake for swimming plus a platform. Kayaks and canoe and a boat rental place near by. Now inside is clean and modern spaces with everything you need. Beautiful views and even a designated office space and WiFi. We were surprised with flowers and a basket of goodies and even a bottle of wine . Our representative……

“The stone cottage had a nice view of the lake, a fire pit, big tables for games and meals with family. Very relaxing and quiet. The loons on the lake were close by--loved their calls to each other! It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. If you have little children, the outdoor patio has a drop off that you would need to use caution with. We would definitly recommend this place. ”
