“I chose that title because I spent a couple of summers at a Methodist church camp (Epworth Forest in Indiana) and that's what we called our daytime "base." “There was a boil water in effect which is understandable. I boiled water for cooking and dishes. The biggest problem was there was no hot water at. So bathing was a issue. all ”

“We enjoyed getting out and hiking through the trails and chatting with neighbors. If you are planning on staying here, you really need to bring cookware, and something to cook on. I did see outdoor grills but no pans or pots in cabin. ”

“Beautifully rehabbed old building. The bungalow was a perfect fit for our family. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need and the quirks of an old building make this place charming. It was nicely decorated and clean. The owners were very accommodating and go to great lengths to make sure you are comfortable. The restarunt was fantastic and reasonably priced. Can't wait to come back when the pool is done. Definitely felt like home away from home.”
