“Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend……

“This was our favorite place to stay as a family! We have 3 children (ages 11,14,16), and we loved staying in this beautiful, quaint little house in the most beautiful garden setting. It's just 30 minutes from Rio Celeste, and about an hour from Liberia airport, so it's in a great location. The family who owns this place is extremely kind and friendly, and they made us feel very welcome! The best part was the homemade delicious breakfast they made for us in the morning (complete with hot cocoa……

“Sejour fabuleux avec des hotes aux petits soins. Tout etait parfait meme les conseils des restaurants. Pour un sejour proche du rio celeste c'est le lieu ideal et ne pas hésiter a prendre un diner sur place. Ce fut fort sympathique a un tarif tres raisonnable ”

“The people running it were so nice and extremely helpful. We got set up with a guide to take us on a hike to a spectacular waterfall, and were told of other places of interest. The food was delivered hot to the house and was plentiful and good. It was odd that in the very well stocked kitchen, there was no silverware. We don’t know if there was no hot water or if we didn’t figure out how to use it. Some outside chairs would have been nice ”

“We wish we would have spent more time at Patrick's place. The breakfast was the best we had in Costa Rica. This place has everything you need to explore the La Fortuna area.”

“The property was just as described. Eladio is a great host with even better excursions. The first day we seen howler monkeys, macaws, white face monkeys and plenty of crocodiles. The parrots play in the trees right outside of the house along with the iguanas. ”
