“My mom and I absolutely loved our recent stay at Banana Winds on Cat Island! The location was stunning—right by the ocean—and the home was incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and relaxing. It was hard to leave the house because it was so peaceful and beautiful.The locals were absolutely lovely, and the caretaker, Harrison, truly went above and beyond. My mom has alpha-gal syndrome, and this was her first time traveling with it. Harrison not only prepared two delicious, completely safe meals……

Manager two properties down and so responsive and helpful (wife broke her foot on the trip, and they were so gracious to find some crutches for her. Locals friendly, open.We recommend it highly.”

“Villa située sur une plage absolument magnifique et presque déserte. L’inconvénient est que l’épicerie est à 45 minutes en voiture et qu’elle ne contient que les produits de base. Pas de fromages fins, de charcuterie etc..et toutes les viandes et poissons sont congelés.”

“The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager.”

“Cool house with a great location on the island. House had everything we needed and was very private. This was the only spot on the island we were bit up by the bugs and a new ceiling fan above the outdoor couch would have been nice to have for some airflow. ”

“If you are looking for a beautiful, serene getaway this is it! The property is exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds, bright big bathroom, full kitchen for all your cooking / bbq needs, plus Marianna had many extras waiting for us on arrival such as coffee/tea, snacks, bottles of water and cold bubbly! Marianna (host) was great with all communication and answered any questions that we had. She arranged a contact to pick us up for the airport (close by), help us grab some groceries and……

We visit the Bahamas yearly, and Cat Island stood out because of its untouched, peaceful beaches—perfect for recharging. **The location** The east shore of the island is remote, with stunning beaches, ideal for family time. **The house** Ocean View Coral lives up to its name—right on the beach with pink sand and coconut trees stretching for miles. We stayed upstairs. I’m an early riser, enjoying my coffee while reflecting on yesterday and planning……
