“Absolutely fantastic cottage for a break in the peaks. Well equipped and very clean cottage. Very comfortable with a big garden. The pool was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Fantastic location for walking, getting to Bakewell and surrounding area. Cottage was well equipped, clean and welcoming.Rather tight around the table for 4 adults if you want to eat in. On description it said that it was one double and a king, we checked before we went and messaged owner to check it was made up as a king which she said she would do however it was just 2 singles pushed together with single duvets . Otherwise everything was really lovely. We had a great stay”

“Chime Cottage was absolutely charming! It had everything we needed—cozy, cute, and perfectly functional. The space was thoughtfully designed and felt like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated the comfy bed, the lovely bath to relax in after long days of hiking, and the cozy wood burner that made the evenings extra special.We walked into Bradwell from Hope Station—about 2 miles—so a bit of a walk, but totally doable and a great way to soak in the scenery. “What a lovely cottage. Very well furnished and equipped, in a lovely location. The cottage is even nicer than the photos suggest. However, if you ha e young children ( our grandchildren are ages 8, 5, 4 and 3), the neighbour is likely to complain. We received a message from the owner, with a complaint about the children running around and being noisy. Isn't that what children do when they are excited to be on holiday? The cottage does have floorboards which are quite noisy, but to expect them……

“WISH WE HADN’T!!! . No lights at all working on communal stairs so pitch black up to top floor apartment apartment. Stuff from other flats left on stairs so added to trip hazard. Kitchen poorly equipped , we had to go and buy something to cook in , no bread board , peeler etc. oven was disgusting, oily and old burnt food left in it . communication on location and flat number very poor so we ended up knocking on other people’s doors until we got a call from Vrbo finally . Smoke alarm in front……

“The apartment was spacious and very comfortable in a beautiful and tranquil garden setting. Access to many walks from the property - no need to drive every day. Interesting market towns nearby and some National Trust properties an hour or so away. Youlgreave is in walking distance- 3 pubs serving food and some shops with local produce. ”
