“The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!”

“My friend and I had a wonderful wintery break in the pods. Compact, clean, comfortable, and everything you need. Friendly responsive hosts. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the beautiful expanse of Pekapeka beach. The pods are in a small enclave of houses but it was very quiet, only noise at night was the sea and the frogs! We liked the eco-friendly touches and the herb garden, beds were very comfy, shower was hot with decent pressure. Thoroughly recommend and would love to return!”

“Lovely large house in nice rural setting. Good heating ensured it was warm. Kitchen very well supplied with utensils etc. Very clean. Only negative feedback relates to the quality and supply of the linen we paid extra for. We had to make the beds, and linen was not overly good quality and bit limited (1towel each & no flannels). Also the “5th bedroom” is bit misleading as is a pull out couch in the kitchen. Fine for family but not appropriate for our arrangement where separate bedrooms were……

“Beautiful house and lovely family. When I saw the room however, I asked the host to consider giving me a refund or a partial refund despite their policy. I rented for 3 nights and stayed zero minutes. The problem was, that the room felt too enclosed. The room is downstairs - I don't recall the room having windows... The Expedia/VRBO Listing shows pictures of the kitchen and the patio and the amenities you can use upstairs but when you walk up stairs and you see the family doing homework, you……
