“Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und alle Geräte funktionieren. Die Klimaanlage haben wir eigentlich gar nicht benötigt, da bei offenen Fenstern immer ein leichter Durchzug im Haus vorhanden war.Am Pool zirpten die Grillen und ab und an bellten die Hunde. Etwas anspruchsvoll ist lediglich der Transport schwerer Taschen zum Haus, da man doch einen Weg über Stufen zurücklegen muss. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!”

“The pictures of the property and apartment speak for themselves. Angela and Simone keep this beautiful property meticulously maintained and very clean. They provided a great welcome package that included various kitchen staples (eggs/bread/OJ/fruit, etc...) which we put to good use. Center of town is a 12 minute walk from the apartment and day trips to Florence/Portofino/Cinque Terre are easy (about an hour away each). City of Lucca is 25 minutes away by car and a hidden gem of this region. ……

“This lovely villa is the ideal venue for family gatherings. It is a wonderful location, in rural Tuscany close to Lucca with fantastic views. The host Franco was very helpful and responsive to any concerns .The infinity pool is a perfect size and much enjoyed by all. The villa and annexe were both spotless. ”

“Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans la casa Mimi afin de visiter la Toscane et ce reposer. Je dirais que l'annonce correspond exactement à la réalité. L'accueil était parfait, les gens très sympathique. Nous avons profité de cette maison avec un soleil magnifique, c'est un endroit central pour visiter la Toscane. “Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen an diesem wundervollen Platz. Es gibt alles, was man braucht, um selbst zu kochen, ebenso fußläufig fantastische Restaurants und einen regionalen Lebensmittelladen. Matraia ist ein beschaulicher Ort und gleichzeitig gut für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Das Haus und der Garten sind liebevoll gestaltet und sehr großzügig. “This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. If you like some solitude……
