“The Grand Argyle Resort & Villas was a beautiful location. Our room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was a pool table located upstairs and an outdoor pool, however, it was not clean enough to enter. We did enjoy walking around the property and site seeing. The area offers spectacular views! “九日斯里兰卡游，唯一住宿不满意的地方，而且我们还住了两个晚上，房间最糟糕的就是总是莫名其妙的断电，热水器太小，一个人冲凉十五分钟之后就没有热水了！半夜特别冷，虽然给了两床薄毛毯，仍然被半夜冻醒，实在不是住宿的选择！房间倒是干净，6美元的早餐看着也很普通，我们没有选择，强烈不建议选择该酒店”

“除了用餐准备时间太长外，几乎无可挑剔。不知道为什么会把酒店名翻译成“象牙”，太误导了。这是奥利芬家族私邸改建的酒店。酒店很多基础设施，都有150年历史。即便新配置的家具，多半也是安装殖民时期的风格配置的，所以一走进酒店就有穿越到十九世纪的感觉。入住当天只有我们一行5人，所以两个管家服务的很周到。只是用餐准备的时间太长，从点餐到上前餐花了一个多小时时间，因为现点现做，后厨只有一个厨师和帮手的原因。这难免引起我们的不快，我们的不满弄得两位管家很紧张，反而让我们有些心不安。晚餐虽然准备时间很长，但做的很地道，于是把不满化作感谢，大家皆大欢喜。”

“Hugely overpriced. I’m not saying that it is not a comfortable stay, but I would rate it a 5 star out of 10. Firstly, staff are not really helpful/ welcoming, the welcome drink was nice, but the waiter who served it didn’t give a single smile the whole time. We asked for two separate beds when we booked online but were given one king bed, luckily they double checked and changed the room for us. However, our luggage didn’t come for 20mins( thought they forget about this’ll lie so I called the……

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”
