“Charming old building combined with modern luxury, excellent SPA facilities if that’s your thing. Cosy bar, quality food and excellent service. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Great spot for exploring the County Down coast, we were lucky with the weather. ”
“This hotel was located perfectly for an early departure on the ferry. It was comfortable, clean, with attentive staff, and excellent, free parking. It was situated right in the harbor area, on the road that leads to the ferry.”

“Nice place, with some minor inconveniences:
-window to outside would not close and had a gap, letting in a lot of street noise from the bar across the street
-no air conditioning or even a fan...room was very stuffy
-lots of flies in the room, maybe from the open window?
-no hot water at sink
-no suitable surfaces for managing toiletries
But we knew this is an old building when we booked, so nothing that was a deal breaker.”
“Great old hotel with beautiful location on the water. A bit short staffed when we were there, and our room was not cleaned during our 3 day stay. But staff worked hard to compensate, and were helpful and positive. Food was really good.
Our room could use a bathroom update. If you need a lift to get up stairs this is not for you.”
