“House was well kept and with peaceful and beautiful scenery. Host had great communication and i highly recommend this propoerty.”

“House was in a great location beautiful and restful. No area to swim for the kids but we improvised and got a small blow up pool. Recommended for adults and fishing . Launch area if you have a boat. ”

“Spent our spring break at the property with friends and family. Ages ranging from 8 yrs old to 80. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The children played in the water, while the adults relaxed on the very spacious back porch. Everyone had such a good time. The house had all the amenities and was very well stocked. Kayaks, life vests, floats, grills, wood for the fireplace, games etc…The host was very attentive, and we definitely look forward to coming back!If you’ve never been to……

“The property was beautiful, and all advertised amenities were available. Communication with the owners was clear and polite as well. I would definitely recommend it.”

“Got a message the week before our trip stating the refrigerator was not working and that they were working on getting it replaced. We ended up having to bring ice chests as it didn’t get done. The host did offer to credit us for the cost of the ice we purchased. I had to message the host two hours before we arrived in order to get the code to the door. As another guest stated, the road is very rough especially if you are pulling a boat.”

“Everything was great with the property. Easy check-in and quick communication with owner. The living area, kitchen, and bedrooms were very spacious for our party of 3 adults and 2 small dogs. The single bathroom is large and has two sinks w/ mirrors. The pond with gazebo is a nice touch. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and walking the dogs around the pond.”

“We enjoyed our stay! Close to Sam Rayburn! Cabin was perfect for the 4 of us! Plenty of room for our boat trailer and golf cart trailer to park. ”

“We have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals and this is probably the most comfortable, peaceful and well stocked place we have been. The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable and to make us feel welcome. ”

“This was a lovely nature getaway. The drive was easy from Houston and there was plenty for the kids to do - from games availabile inside, to exploring the pond and the nearby forest. We spotted a bald eagle, heard coyotes and saw a few fireflies at night. There is plenty of sleeping room for a group with several children.”

“These grounds are BEAUTIFUL, so peaceful, relaxing, the gardens were so well kept, like a story book! The history is amazing! We had 10 people stay for my daughter’s SFA graduation and they all want to return, because it was such a wonderful place to stay, so relaxing and peaceful. (It was about 15 minutes south of Lufkin and about 25 more minutes to Nacogdoches, but we’ll worth the drive! We will be back♥️. Great coffee bars, teas, salt and pepper, dish soap, dish washer soap, everything……
