“I'm now thinking of other reasons to come to Martinsville just to stay here! A very beautiful and inviting property. Loved using the common areas and cooking in the kitchen. The tomatoes from the garden are delicious! The innkeeper has provided so many thoughtful touches to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Amazing snack tray in our rooms made us feel pampered. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows of all firmness and most importantly comfortable mattresses made for grrat sleeping.……
“This is not a luxurious hotel, but is a very reasonably priced place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay for a day or two. It’s older, but clean. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was amazing! There were many contractors staying the same time we were, but they were quiet, polite and stayed to themselves. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, coffee, juice, but it was empty, make your own waffles, and frozen mini biscuits. They had flavored coffee creamer, but no……
“Me and my sport team of 28 people stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The service at the front desk (Sam) was more than accommodating. While the condition of the building may be a little run down, if you’re looking for an easy, simple nights rest and a shower this is the place to go. ”
