“This is one of the best rental homes I’ve ever had! Good location for exploring the area. Found a nice beach and fun fishing spot. The house as clean, well equipped, everything labeled, responsive host. You didn’t have to scramble to find paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc- it was included in ample supply. Everything so organized! Just perfect. Kids loved the outdoor amenities including the tree swing. ”

“We had a wonderful and calm two nights. My husband and I were so relaxed. The home is in a great woodland setting with privacy. The pond could be viewed just outside the front door. The home's landscaping enhanced the site. The dock area is attractive. We had planned to use the kayaks but it was a little too chilly. Three bathrooms - no waiting! The king suite upstairs is huge. “Our family of two adults, one teen, one 12 year old and our dog had a great time at this property. We fished from the dock, kayaked and used our paddle board. We also enjoyed Monopoly on a rainy afternoon and playing games in the front yard. Thank you for a great time!”

“Adorable little cottage felt like home. We had everything we needed for cooking and bathroom was stocked with shampoos, soaps and fluffy towels. Really clean. Beautiful area; took a few great walks in neighborhood with my little dog.”

“House was absolutely perfect. Outdoor space was fantastic for our corgi (yard and gated porch) to play. Plenty of room for older kids to spread out into the game barn. Very easy walk to the beach or town. Owners were lovely and very quick and thorough with communication. We’ve loved Cape Charles for years - but this is a new favorite! ”

“This three-story Federal-style home has a delightful view of the York River. The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice. The rooms are generously spacious, with a deck on both the first and second floors. The entire third floor is one huge bedroom, with two double beds. The second floor has two bedrooms as well as laundry facilities, and EVERY bedroom has its own full bath! We were astonished at how big this……
