“The check in was quick and painless. Our request for an accessible room was actioned. We found it on the ground floor and was of a good size with a more than adequate sized shower toilet room. Plenty of ventilation from the opening window. Desk and chair plus bench were all good.”

Details like the hearty breakfast and opportunity to purchase handknit wool sweaters made by his grandma set this experience apart from our other stays. However the highlight was spending time with our host Siggy as we talked about sheep farming and Iceland's history. His warmth and deep knowledge about all things Icelandic gave us a greater appreciation for the country. ”

“Clean accommodations! There is a brewery right across the street!! I had a little difficulty with the keyless pads but they did work. I walked to the airport and to the lighthouse. The mini market had lots of varieties of foods, children’s toys, and even ice cream. ”
