It's about a 20min drive to Bonham, TX - we found this to be an adorable small town with all amenities and quite a rich history, which you can discover in several museums. We also enjoyed Bonham state park and being so close to Oklahoma with its reservates and museums. Beautiful nature and wide plains surround the cabin. Cabin is on the same property as the owners. “My wife and I booked this home with our 9 month old and 4 other couples to spend the 4th of July weekend. We had an absolute blast. We were able to float in the lake right in front of the house, and spent plenty of time at the clubhouse pool where we met some of the neighbors who were all very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property for a family friendly weekend. There is also a wild peacock that roams around the neighboring properties that minds its own business that everyone……
