“Cabin was excellent. Very clean. Kitchenette has everything you need. Fantastic view of Norfork Lake. If you reserve Lake View Cabin you may get any one of 3, although one is named Lake View. Lake View cabins are 30 feet from busy Hwy 177. Traffic is non-stop. Very noisy. Grill good but very pricey. Be sure to reserve a table. If you eat on the patio request a fly fan.”

“The only problem was the parking. We had two big PUs and it was tricky getting them parked and out of the way of any traffic trying to get back to the other cabin.”

“This rustic cabin provided us with a great basecamp for a Spring running vacation. We used the Syllamo and Syllamore trails and loved drinking coffee and eating our meals on the porch that overlooked the White River. The accommodations were good, but we would have known what the cooking product (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) inventory was before we arrived. Because of this, we ended up bringing a lot of our own items, which we were happy about since we cooked a lot in the house.Our stay coincided……

“I loved the cabin! It was perfect for my reunion with family. The reasons i didn't give it a 5 star were that the furniture was not very comfortable, there was no oven and the microwave was not easily accessible as it was above the refrigerator. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend. ”

While the access involves gravel roads, they are meticulously maintained, making the drive quite pleasant, even for us, accustomed to Oklahoma's gravel roads. The 30-minute drive to Calico Rock on these roads is particularly convenient. Though other destinations like Mountain View, and Mountain Home are a 40 minute drive away, the scenic beauty makes the travel enjoyable and do not seem……
