“Exactly as advertised. If you want a spot for the family to come up and be close to the park, this is it. I’d like to leave a lousy review so that no one will book it and I can come back whenever I want to, but that would be a lie. We loved this place. Reminds us of cottages we’ve stayed in up in VT. “We stayed for two nights while attending a local event. Overall, the place was bigger and cozier than it appears—clean, quiet, and charming. The driveway easily fit three cars. The main bathroom is modern, the attic bedroom is well-insulated (great for kids), and the deck offers a nice lake view (though there’s no direct lake access). We appreciated having a dishwasher and detergent on hand.Note about the attic bedroom: there is no inward stair rail--which is a safety hazard. Be cautious when……

“The house was BEAUTIFUL. It had a well stocked kitchen and comfy living area, two big things for our group. The entire house was decorated beautifully. We wish we had time and appropriate weather to enjoy the porch. This is the perfect little cottage especially if you want a weekend away from city life. It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. ”

“We would stay here again. It was in a nice location with privacy. The outdoor space was amazing. We did not like that the door to the downstairs area did not lock/shut securely. It was a sliding door. We were able to accommodate for that small issue! It was a nice getaway for our anniversary. ”

“We absolutely LOVED staying here! It was quiet and clean, and the host was very kind and responsive. The best part was Ranger, the cutest dog ever! We also enjoyed going on walks around the farm to look at the horses, chickens, turkeys, and sheep. We hope to come back next year! It was truly the perfect getaway. ”

“So happy we chose this home for our home away from home for 5 nights. It’s in a great location. Away from everyone. Not far to drive to near by destinations. Plenty of beds for our family of 5. The house is very clean, had all the amenities we needed, very well stocked, very well maintained. The kids enjoyed the basketball court as well! The owner was easy to contact if we had any issues, we accidentally locked a lock we didn’t need to lol. She was very prompt! We will def be choosing this place……

“The house was wonderful. It’s exactly what we were looking for and it was exactly as advertised. Lisa and Jonathan are also very easy to get ahold of from start to finish. The house was so clean and inviting and had a warm feel. The set up outside with the patio and patio furniture as well as the landscaping, was also lovely. Also, the loaf of bread and butter and the personalized note when we walked in, were a very nice touch. The location was also very centrally located for the destinations……
