“This property is amazing!! The scenery is like no other. We seen deer through the whole time we where here. These cuties are everywhere so be careful driving. The house has so much to offer. From all the room downstairs that leads out to the deck over looking the lake. We lucked out during our September trip with 90 degrees which lead us to do some floating on the lake and also kayaking. There are 2 on the property. I can't say enough about the wonderful time our getaway was. The hosts are also……

“This was an amazing getaway! So secluded and private....surrounded by nature...”

“Clean, quiet cabin. Several cabins fairly close by on the property. A thicket of trees separates the property from a golf course and it is a couple of blocks from a highway, so not exactly secluded. That isn't necessarily a negative. I felt safe there and it was easy to find with the directions from the host It was a quiet environment and very pleasant to sit out on the deck which was shaded by a tree at Cabin 2. Unlike some of the other cabins, mine had only two steps up to the deck, so……

We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin.……
