“Attended 2024 Cooperstown Baseball tournament at the ALLSTAR VILLAGE fields. We were happy to get away from the fields as we wanted both to be 30 mins away from fields but also peace and beauty. This is a great spot for families attending the tournament, about 30 mins away and lots to entertain younger siblings. Host Rena was great with communication and flexible with our baseball schedule and additional guest/pet needs. We would stay here again and would recommend for families attending……

“I stayed several days in October. The cabin was cozy, clean and just as described. My ducks loved the pond and the little waterfall. The other cabin was a bit close so next time I will rent both and have my family come up with me. You could hear the noise from the road even though it was not that close nor could you see it. Thank you for sharing your home with us. ”

“My husband and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation in this cozy cottage in a picturesque setting. Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. Highlight was sitting by a fire enjoying a delicious charcuterie board/wine (go to Good Taste Epicurian Market in Franklin!). Thanks for hosting us!”

“It was a family getaway, me and two of my grown “kids”. We don’t get to see each other enough. The Cabin was the perfect place for the three of us; cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed taking turns cooking on the vintage stove/oven and spending time together around the campfire and exploring the area.It had rained quite a bit before we arrived and the river was too high to fish. No problem; other things to do. Some nice hiking trails nearby. The School House, the Downsville Diner and Danny’s……

“The cabin is small but complete. The main bedroom (just a full bed) is cozy, and the secondary bedroom and loft are a bit past cozy - anyone in the loft will have to be careful not to bump their head when they wake up.The site is very peaceful. Can't hear a thing most of the time other than nature and very occasional traffic. Access road is a dirt track so I'd avoid during rainy season if you don't have four wheel drive.If you're looking for an ideal place to decompress, you found it.”
