“If you're looking for a fancy hotel, this is not for you. It's a bit rundown, but I understand they are planning a renovation. The staff were pleasant, and it was clean. It was conveniently located near transit and the performance venue I attended, and there are good dining options nearby. The only negative I experienced was that the room was a bit too warm, and turning the cooling to maximum seemed insufficient. “The first room provided had a smoke smell. We had to take all are luggage back to the first floor front desk. We changed rooms. There is a swimming pool but in the Winter, we enjoy the spa but they didnt provide it. My son was cold so he wanted to take a bath but the water stopper was broken. Staff tried to fix it but she said tomorrow at 7 am people could come to fix it or we could change rooms again. We do not appreciate the service but we did not want to change rooms again. “It was pretty good, the room was clean and amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming! The only few downsides were the heater for the shower wasn't that hot, the breakfast was limited and the pool wasnt open due to maintenence. Overall the hotel was pretty good:)”
