Great heating, and well insulated.The cabin had all the amenities that we needed. “We had a fantastic stay Thanksgiving week, 2024. My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The property is secluded and has gorgeous views--even in the winter! My kids were delighted with the little games tucked away under the TV. My husband and I loved the thoughtfulness of amenities like the heated towel rack, really cool bunk beds and fun ping pong table. The kids were overjoyed to wake up Thanksgiving morning to a fresh snowfall! We made a snowman and even took our Christmas card photo! ……

“Perfect cabin close to a bunch of New Yorks state parks, very clean with a nice large kitchen tons of room for my my eife and I and our 3 kids, the single beds are all in an open loft which just meant we had to keep it quiet once the kids went to bed. Our only complaint were the king and queen beds squeak a lot, like just rolling around in your sleep they are noisy. So if we stayed more then 2 nights I could see that being an issue but otherwise we’d live to go back for another weekend and do……

“We stayed in this wonderful rustic hunting lodge with a group of 7 adults. Pete and Sherry were attentive hosts and the house had everything we needed. Plenty of room. Located about 30 minutes from Ithica, it’s on 30 acres so very private. The memorabilia from 30 years of hunting expeditions and events held at their event hall were very cool. We’d definitely recommend and stay again.”

“…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in……

“Location was ideal, size was good. I liked the setup of the front door lock and had it been warmer weather, would have loved to use the front porch swing. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. ”
