“This is one of those properties we probably shouldn't be reviewing to keep it our little secret, but as helping others is one of our core principles... well, here we are. Scottland Yard is a dream getaway for anyone who wants to experience the perfect mix of farm life and luxury - yes, apparently this is possible. Catching up with the farm animals, the magnificent mountain and rolling hill views, incredibly well thought out interior designs and property layout, the fine attention to detail with……

“Property is a bit ways from town. Area is extremely peaceful. Cabin has plenty of space and nice open feel. Beforehand, owner was initially responsive however would have liked that to continue during our stay as we did not receive much during our stay. Listing should really mention steep spiral stairs to basement and to upstairs as for our small children needed help for safety as well as one adult who had a bad knee could not do these stairs. Recommend non slip treads for safety. Also recommend……

“Annual girls weekend for 5. This was a new location this year instead of the beach...The serene surroundings were perfect, a little chill in the air and the town of Skaneatles is charming. Basement bedroom did not have adequate heater flow and the overall cabin needed a good clean and some recaulking but we enjoyed the rustic accommodations. Thank you for a great getaway.”

“The house was very clean & welcoming. Living area was compact but comfortable & had everything we needed. The loft is spacious, and there's a table up there for puzzles & games. It's open to the living space, but there's a curtain for privacy. We enjoyed exploring the walking trails. Remote location but only about 20 min to Ithaca. Wish we had more time! ”

“Perfect cabin close to a bunch of New Yorks state parks, very clean with a nice large kitchen tons of room for my my eife and I and our 3 kids, the single beds are all in an open loft which just meant we had to keep it quiet once the kids went to bed. Our only complaint were the king and queen beds squeak a lot, like just rolling around in your sleep they are noisy. So if we stayed more then 2 nights I could see that being an issue but otherwise we’d live to go back for another weekend and do……
