“Perfect place for my wife and I to spend a week. Great location for the OBX. Not too far to go anywhere. Place was very clean on arrival and as nice as the photos on the website. Highly recommend for two people. ”

“We stayed for a quick 2-night getaway in Duck and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing, welcoming place. The home was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable for all of us—including my 90-year-old mother-in-law, who absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere and ocean views. The location was ideal—quiet, close to the beach, and just a short drive to shops and restaurants. The porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee and evening chats while listening to the waves. “Overall this house was in a great location and had excellent amenities. The weather during our stay wasn’t the best, so having a movie theater and hot tub made a huge difference. On the flip side, the cleaning wasn’t great and there were various odds and ends broken around the house. This house has tons of stairs and isn’t childproofed, so it made staying with a toddler very exhausting. The spiral staircase, for example, was very hard to block off. Despite those downsides, I would stay here……

“Great location. The house is very big with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our large family. We did have some problems (HVAC system didn’t work in two of the rooms, a couple appliances had problems, and the pool got algae quick due to the wooded area), but Bob and Tanya were responsive and tried to resolve the issues. We didn’t mind the walk to the beach, but there is also parking if you would rather drive. There are also plenty of bikes, paddle boards, and surf boards that the kids loved!……

“Great property- had everything we needed. Close to downtown Duck, yet far enough away where we weren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Easy access to Corolla and points South. Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need!”

“This was our second stay at Wave Hi, and again, thoroughly enjoyed it! The condo is clean and comfortable and has such an amazing view. We loved that it was an easy walk to all the bars, restaurants and shops in Duck. We will definitely stay here again!”

“You just can't ask for anything better! The location, the view, the house, the beds, the beach, the sunrise, the dolphins, the property manager...all 5 star! One morning we saw 70 dolphins swim past us over a 2 hour period. We saw dolphins on 5 of the 7 days. Sunrise, morning coffee and baby dolphins putting on a show. How could you ask for more? Plus we found many great restaurants. I can't wait to go back! ”
