"The room had a wonderful view of Mt. Hood. The room was historic and quaint. I had a shared bathroom, but it was clean and well maintained. All areas around the property were in great shape. The breakfast was simple and nutritious. The dining area and outside patio were super welcoming."

"The bad part is that the property is kind of hard to get to. Having said that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My view of the Columbia River was great. The breakfast was simple but very good. I would stay there again when i would visit The Dalles again."

"Clean, cozy, great location, main bed 3 doubles in loft. It is a little dated, but was clean and had everything you could need (kitchen/cooking, flashlights, reading material, games, etc). "We came with a 1, 4 and 6 year old grand kids and the kids enjoyed all the games in the garage, the games they could play in the huge yard and the hot tub. They were sad to leave and said good bye house see you next time. On one of our returns, we were greeted by this beauty."
