“Beyond wonderful. I planned to bring my mom and aunt for my aunts 80th bday celebration. My aunt ended up breaking her hip and couldn’t make it. “The house is beautiful. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The manager was super responsive to our questions. The property feels private, quiet and safe. The dogs loved the property. We did have to climb up from the road to close one gate for peace of mind. I highly recommend this location. Thanks for having us. We hope to be back sometime soon!”

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The home has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with every detail thoughtfully considered. From the well-stocked kitchen, complete with cookware and spices, to the luxurious bathroom amenities like shampoo and conditioner, everything was taken care of. The fireplace made the chilly evenings feel extra cozy, and the spa was a fantastic bonus that added to the relaxation. The location is perfect and close to many cool shops, other cool little towns and zip lining!”

“The driveway is something else, little light to assist with a nasty boulder you can't see in the dark. Downstairs toilet is a tired piece of porcelain and the flush valve acted up requiring a plumber to visit. Glad the house was not full. The spa was green with lots of bubbles, told it was the water so we choose a place specifically to use a spa under the stars. I don't get it with owners who try to save the water and spend major to keep treating the chemical experiment. Drain it and start……

“We really enjoyed our weekend away, two small families, sharing the house and studio across the deck. Modern Zen is set back from the road and consequently really quiet and feels super secluded. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed for a family meal. Some really thoughtful touches and little luxuries like a heated bathroom floor! For dog owners, the dog run is secure and a real boon — but be aware that it is on fairly steep, uneven ground at the back of the property, and be……

“We had a wonderful time at this home!Pros: amazing location, we walked to the river and it was a perfect swim spot. we saw ospreys, owls and bunch of other cool birds. There are plenty of extra towels and linens and the hot tub was amazing. Kitchen had everything we needed and was comfy to cook and share meals at. “It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time.……

“The cottage is the perfect spot for some quality solo time - I used it for a writing retreat and it was ideal. I spent a week by the fire writing, did a puzzle, did some painting, made a lot of tea, and went on lots of walks (Islands in the Sea is a great hike!). The nights were cool but I was toasty - fantastic bed and heater when the fireplace was off. It would be nice to have a couple bits of instruction written down on how to turn the fireplace on (host provided via message) and how to work……

“This cozy spot was lovely and had ample natural light and easy access to the river. Getting to the beach was just a short ten minute walk away, and we spemt the afternoon laid out next to the water.”

“This was the perfect place for a long weekend! The cabin is incredibly well-appointed with a full kitchen and grill, EV car charging, and ample places to lounge in beautiful settings. Would definitely recommend! Oliver was easy to communicate with and had a very helpful location guide with plenty of tips.”

“I love the place it was beautifully and quiet. My girls and i had a great time. The one thing i did not like is when someone try to say I was having more ppl staying at the place when it wasnt true. I make sure I fallow th rulse I'm not a person that be rude in someone place. I understand the person was looking out for the own but it just made me uncomfortable. Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
