“Very clean, but the water had a pungent odor and beds needed new mattresses. Check-in was confusing due to lack of posted instructions at front door. ”

“The cottage was perfect. Clean, fresh linens, etc. The view of the river, fishing, kayaking or cooking out was so relaxing. Close to Eugene and next door to Florence on the coast where there are sights and good restaurants galore. Chad and Judi were wonderful hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable, assessable, helpful, but not in your face. Highly recommend.”

“Between work challenges, extended family requirements and the general business of the holiday season the husband and I hadn't had time to do much more than exchange honey do lists for the last few months. We decided to seize a weekend when we could and wanted somewhere off the beaten path for us. The Sea Star couldn't have been more perfect. Comfortable, well equipped, quiet. “Laurel House is a short walk from Old Town and very quiet. It is comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The host was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“There was an underlying smell upon entering this great space. Checked online & “no pets” but the greeting sign said “if you brought a dog clean up after your dog” so confused! Surprised that there is also a tenant above as well as the antique store in front, 3 units. We heard their TV & walking around so I was concerned then with our music! Overall a good place with good outdoor sitting areas & a propane fire pit. The bed was comfortable & plenty of hot water & towels. Kitchen a bit sparse but……

“This is a lovely home in a lovely area. The ONLY down side was that it is located on a highway and there is some traffic noise in the early morning. ”

“This home has been well loved and has an ocean charm. Overall it was a great location and super easy walk to the beach. Make sure you bring spices for cooking. We bought a griddle to make pancakes and left it for the next visitors to enjoy. The price accurately reflects the property. ”
