“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“Our stay at this property was amazing. The check-in was easy and well communicated. We were greeted with a lovely note, wine, and fresh eggs from the property owners feathered friends! The views were outstanding and the property itself was divine. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the PNW. ”

“Loved the property! The cottage was clean and well appointed. Just rustic enough (e.g. no dishwasher and fireplace was wood burning vs gas). The hot tub was clean and perfect for sitting and reading. The picture windows had wonderful water views. There was even an eagle’s nest overhead with eaglets! My friend and I like weekend getaways to Coupeville and this location is our favorite so far! Beds are comfy too!”

“Only issues were very small shower, super hot (almost tooo hot) water, bottom sheet doesnt stay put when sleeping, never knew where the washer and dryer was?? No info on that or where to dump garbage before we left.Over all the experience was great!!”

“This is a very clean property in a great location. The owner is very friendly and responsive to your needs. I would recommend staying here. ”

“I loved our stay here. The property manager was very responsive, the kitchen was well set up, and the space was open and inviting. The views of the mountains were amazing. The main road was closer than I thought but the design of the property gave you a lot of privacy while not taking away from the beauty of the peninsula. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the hockey table and hot tub and exploring the grounds. ”

“My daughter and I did an overnight to celebrate her being home from college for the summer. The property is beautiful and only 20 minutes from Port Angeles. The tree Haus is cozy and the outdoor kitchen and hot tub were so fun to use. The host came on property to meet us to resolve some unforeseen issues with our accommodations. She was kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this property.”

“The host was really nice very fast response. We enjoyed our stay. They let use use the water hose from there other property to clean our bikes off. Everything worked out for us.”

“House feels brand new. Lovely location on a cute little lake. Lots to do, from kayaks to two large screen TVs, a nice kitchen and beautiful deck overlooking deck. We had five sunny April days. Only wish there was more than 2 bathrooms for the nine of us. Would definitely return.”

“As the pictures show, Gummy Bear is a whimsical and unique structure. The property is beautiful with grounds to roam and a fire pit. The location was a great go-between for adventures to Lake Crescent and Port Townsend. The home needs an exterminator and better barriers to keep critters out. My husband kept finding droppings and suspected mice or rats. We had a sealed loaf of garlic bread on the kitchen counter, and woke the next ”

“I encourage any adult couple or a lone adult seeking a relaxing stay to book this spot. Never thought any place could beat a beautiful oceanside stay but this River’s Edge home did it for us! We could hear the water rushing down the stream, birds singing, and in the mornings a rooster crowing. We loved it. Having the fireplace on the deck and the fire pit near the water was amazing. We used both. Christian provided plenty of firewood! We had enough backyard grassy area to throw the frisbee……
