“We enjoyed a short family vacation on lake Haliburton. The cottage was clean with well stocked kitchen for 4 people. We enjoyed time on the large dock with beautiful views of the lake. “We enjoyed our time. The proximity to Sir Sam's Skiing was excellent. There are a lot of stairs in the Chalet, all wood so our legs were tired at the end of it. The ice on the driveway posed a hazard and I had the best wipe out of the week, not on the ski hills but on the driveway. Otherwise, the accommodations proved to be everything we needed and were looking for. Overall I would highly recommend this property.”

“I liked the fact that every thing you need to relax during your stay is easily accessible in few foot steps . I especially liked bonfire, BBQ , kayak/canoeing, private beach, indoor games. One thing I would like to share feedback for improvement is the door mats are not big enough for a place that , as whenever we go out and come in lot of sand/mud comes in room, they could have big good absorbable mats at the door to avoid our room getting dusty quickly, we had to clean our room multiple times.”

“We stayed at the property in late April to allow us to explore Algonquin Park for wildlife photography. The cottage was perfect; great location between Algonquin Park and Huntsville. The cottage was just as described. After one night we felt totally at home. Steve was great with communication and making sure it was easy to just relax without worrying about anything. ”
