“We were in town for my father in law’s funeral and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. The house was less than a mile from my inlaw’s and 10 minutes from the church. It was clean, comfortable, and had 3 bathrooms so it wasn’t a struggle for all of us getting ready in the morning. We didn’t get to stay long and enjoy the fireplace or 4 season porch much, but we will definitely be back.”

“Our family (6 adults and one dog) had the most amazing Christmas at this cabin! It’s a spacious three-bedroom retreat that was perfect for our needs. The kitchen and dining area were beautifully designed and fully equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy our holiday meals together. We especially appreciated how open and inviting the space felt—it really set the tone for our celebration.We took advantage of some of the provided board games/video games...and this 80s kid definitely appreciated……

“The property is very beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. The grandkids loved the lake and made good use of it. The screened in back porch has a great barbecue and a nice table. Perfect setting for eating outside. Gary and Sandy are excellent host.”

Situated just 13 minutes from anything you need in Alexandria, this lakefront property sits at the end of the road, which provides Seclusion and privacy. The garage provides plenty of recreational space and it is just a few short steps on flatland from the door to the dock. The fishing on the lake was also fantastic. Will definitely come back”

“The Lakeside Retreat is great! Cleanliness is my highest priority and it was clean! It had everything we needed and was located on such a sweet spot. The pictures do not due is justice as the space is very functional and conducive for gathering and doing different activities. We would definitely return.”

“This property was exactly as advertised. The lake is just a beautiful as the cottage. There is to a of room, good fishing from the dock and we enjoyed spending time gathered around a fire, watching lions on the lake and playing cards inside at night. Highly recommend!”
