“The apartment was exactly as listed. We found it to be the perfect place to stay for our visit to the New River Gorge. Very quiet, very clean without the use of scents. We are sensitive to fabric softeners and other similar products. The couch and king-size mattress were very comfortable after a long day of hiking.Would stay again.”

“The property is located right across from Hawks Nest State Park. The neighborhood is quiet. You can sit on the front porch or out back on the patio or up by the fire pit. We saw deer, birds and heard a fox at night. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Great drawer and closet space too! “The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we could not get the hot tub to work while we were there. The host was very communicative and the house was very clean and had all of the amenities listed. The game room turned out to be a gem that we didn’t expect to utilize as much as we did. Would definitely recommend this rental! ”

“This little house was quite roomy and cozy. The host provided check-in and WiFi information on request only, but responded quickly to all our questions. WiFi was spotty, which probably isn't unusual this deep in the countryside. The washer was broken when we got there. The kitchen cupboards were full, yet I couldn't find a matching lid for the big pot, nor was there a ladle. There were 2 versions of the check-out instructions: one unedited one on the living room table, and one edited one in the……

“We had a nice stay, it was a place for us to lay our head each night. We spent our days at the New River Gorge National Park. The check-in was a little awkward and we didn't know where to go to get to the apartment. We had to walk around to the back of the garage, through the yard, and into a door. From there we had to enter another door to get to the stairs to get to the apartment. It would be helpful to have a paved path and some signage as we did not receive any directions.”
