The house is cozy and warm and has plenty of sleeping options. I slept on the porch which was particularly delightful. Also, Bread and Puppet is a 15 minute drive away — I’d highly recommend giving them a visit! On the whole, it was so lovely and it was the perfect birthday getaway. ”

“The cottage is absolutely perfect! It was just the right size for our family of 4, plus our dog. The location is very quiet at the end of a road with beautiful views. The cottage is very comfortable with just enough modern updates. The private beach is shared with the other homes on the road but not crowded. Sandy lake bottom that’s shallow for quite a ways out, great for kids. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard. We have already reserved for next year!”

“We enjoyed having the Maybrook Cottage as our home base during our annual weeklong visit to Vermont. Our young kids loved the location and the nearby waterfall to explore. “These cabins were everything we wanted for a rejuvenating week in Vermont. They had all the basics we needed but also the coziness and simplicity that we were looking for. We absolutely loved going to the lake as well as heading out for hiking, biking, and otherwise enjoying the area. There was also more than enough room on the actual property for us (a group of seven, including kids) to play and relax. The hosts were incredibly nice, helpful, and communicative. It was hard to get back to……
