“HOT TUB was not clean and I won't wash my dogs in it, never used it. Very disappointing. Grill was not clean I put my steaks back in the freezer. never used it. They shouldn't advertise thing that are not kept clean! a little miss leading and VERY disappointing. I was planning on bring my grand kids to stay their and go to Santa village, but that have been drop, not up a another disappointing vacation.”

“We loved this little cabin. Nice and clean with plenty of space and nicely equipped for 5 people to spend some time together and enjoy mountain area exploration . Would be great spot for people who love to ski as the ski areas are very close. We checked out local points of interest and downtown Littleton. Went over to North Conway for a day to hike and shop. Sat out on the lovely screen porch and watched the stars. Looking forward to coming again for a longer stay to do more in the area.”

“Knotty Pine Cottage is the perfect escape from the city. The house is wonderful & the hosts have all the amenities you need for your stay. The views from the deck and 2nd floor of the home are spectacular. You can spend time on the pond kayaking, canoeing or dangling your feet in the water while sitting on the sturdy dock. You can also take advantage of the pretty landscape by sitting at the picnic table or at the adorable seating area with firepit the hosts have created. The appeal of the house……

“These cabins were everything we wanted for a rejuvenating week in Vermont. They had all the basics we needed but also the coziness and simplicity that we were looking for. We absolutely loved going to the lake as well as heading out for hiking, biking, and otherwise enjoying the area. There was also more than enough room on the actual property for us (a group of seven, including kids) to play and relax. The hosts were incredibly nice, helpful, and communicative. It was hard to get back to……

“There is no heat in this cabin, only a decorative gas stove that partially works. Thermostat on wall does nothing. Owner has a binder on table with instructions for lighting stove, but the stove does not actually provide any heat. I texted Wayne, the property manager and he said switch on back of stove circulates warm air and thermostat on wall regulates heat, wrong, neither one works. I did not stay and reported the issue to Vrbo and Vacasa, a refund was not issued because their policy states……

“We enjoyed having the Maybrook Cottage as our home base during our annual weeklong visit to Vermont. Our young kids loved the location and the nearby waterfall to explore. The hosts are very easy to communicate with, and have done a wonderful job restoring these vintage cabins. Would definitely return!”
