“The pictures of the property that we were staying in did NOT reflect the current conditions of the home. The house was attached to a motel no big deal but the access from the office of the motel came directly in the area where we were staying and we were unable to lock from our side. The house itself was in need of serious repairs! Peeling paint and wallpaper. Heat that didn’t work very well, no hot water. Half of us didn’t even shower while we were there (4 days). “Knotty Pine Cottage is the perfect escape from the city. The house is wonderful & the hosts have all the amenities you need for your stay. The views from the deck and 2nd floor of the home are spectacular. You can spend time on the pond kayaking, canoeing or dangling your feet in the water while sitting on the sturdy dock. You can also take advantage of the pretty landscape by sitting at the picnic table or at the adorable seating area with firepit the hosts have created. The appeal of the house……
