“We decided to try something new instead of hotel so booked the yacht. Great experience. Marina and boat were lovely. Lots of restaurants and easy to walk around and explore. Steve and Miros went over and above to make sure our stay was great and even picked us up from cruise port and drove us to airport hotel the next day. Would highly recommend . ”

“Property is in a good location. Communication with the host was excellent. Property looking a little tired in areas and missing some kitchen essentials. Had some cute welcome gifts. Would consider staying again. ”

“We stayed at Byecross as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 9 to 77. Fabulous stay in a fabulous property with fabulous hosts. The Aga was fine to use and actually makes the best toast! If you are planning to stay at Byecross I would recommend doing a bit of research on how to use an Aga before arriving, and also plan to spend at least a couple of days at the property without going out anywhere as there really is so much to do and explore just on the property grounds and the surrounding area……

“It did not satisfy us at all. We left after 4 hours and did not stay the night as we didn’t feel comfortable to. it was a very tiny place compared to the pictures. The toilet seat was yellow, and there was no evidence of the place being cleaned. It was very dusty and the oven had a dirty pan in there. It looked like food had been cooked on it and not washed. There was no cutlery or anything the microwave seemed broken. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows very light. The cover felt like……

“Property was clean, good location, near the cruise ports, restraunts, coffee shops. It was difficult for us to get into the building initially as we arrived later. But we got in touch with contact number and spoke with someone who arranged entry to building front door.”

“The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”

“Was modern and clean. Only downfall fall was that the reception girl didn't seem to understand our booking. With a wheelchair user she was going to put us in a 6th floor room then changed her mind and put us in a 10th floor room. Room wasn't suitable as 2nd bed was a sofa bed that had no way of being opened in the room so my husband spoke to a nice man on reception who put us in a larger room on the 7th floor. £16 each for breakfast was a no go as well with 4 of us and 1 being a child so we went……
