“We arrived for a short trip and picked the location for the walkability of the area. 25 minute walk to the Casco Bay Ferry Lines. This gave us a fun afternoon to travel to Peaks Island to explore. We got to eat dinner at The Olive a tasty Lebanese restaurant on the way back to our place. Close to walking paths with great views. Be ready to climb to the third story in this walk up space. Well worth the climb!”

“Our host was an excellent, prompt communicator. He even offered information about things to do in the area. He was very clear about expectations about our stay which at first was a little off-putting. Cooking no greasy food seemed a little much and had us wondering what was allowed. The property was well stocked and as described including the slanted floor. We weren’t aware at booking that parking was only on the street. That would have been nice to know. It’s a 20 minute walk to downtown which……

“We had a great stay at this property despite a hiccup with VRBO providing the wrong location on the map. VRBO had listed the address ending in “Sq” instead of “St” which is actually a 5 min drive from the correct address. After not being able to find it originally, I reached out to the host who was very responsive and clarified that VRBO had placed the pin on the map in the wrong location, unknown to her. The host has since corrected the property location on the listing so do not let this deter……

“This place was perfect for a weekend in Portland. The apartment was larger than expected and fit 4 friends with plenty of the space. Also the sunroom and two outdoor decks were a great touch. In addition to that, the location was amazing with plenty to do right near the apartment and was a close walk to downtown. Would highly recomend to any coming to visit Portland!”

“Much of this home is lovely, and the location is good. The kitchen is very well-equipped, and the home is well-lit. However, there are some things you should know about based on our stay. • Under "Amenities," it says it has air conditioning. Technically this is true; however, there are some caveats. • Only two of the three bedrooms had air conditioning. The third one had a window fan. The other bedroom's AC, on the second floor, would not work due to an underpowered circuit and wiring. It was……
