“This home was perfect for us on our trip to the Midwest. A majority of the homes listed in Galesburg were not as nice as this one. Its only a short drive to town and being out in the country was just what this city girl needed. Home was well stocked with all items needed and with "extras" that made it feel like home. Owners were very accommodating and made sure we did not need of anything. We will stay here again on our visits back to Galesburg. ”

“This site is still under construction but promises to be a nice getaway. I was the only cabin in use. The huge windows provided a great view of the lake and the daily gathering of Canadian geese. Perfect place for dogs with clean tile floors - easy to clean and don’t hold smells from previous pets. “We are in our 70s so the loft was a steep ladder which seemed slippery. We’d reserve a 2-bed in the future for the convenience of the main floor bedroom. Dishes and linens were nice quality. It rained the whole time we were there, but the large windows allowed us to take in the setting. Shades really kept out the sun, and it was nice there was a shade for every window! It was fun and unique for a rental to have a wood fireplace! The 5-point door was tricky to lock. Well maintained paths.……
