“Hotel didn’t have out reservation even after we had paid for it - took an hour to check in at midnight - parking lot was full of random activity and people all hours of night and hall ways smelled like weed. Clientele was shady and co within of hotel rooms and surrounding area was dirty, worn out, in need of maintenance and overall place was a dump. Checked out a day early and forfeited a night because place was so disgusting. Expedia needs to remove them from hotel options and do a better job……

“We stayed at this home 9 years ago, and since then Carolyn and Jon have done major improvements to this home. It is heaven on earth for us, being right on the water to hear the waves, splash against the shoreline. The sunrises & sunsets, along with the moon, never fail to provide natures show during our stay! Thank you Carolyn & Jon for sharing your beautiful home with us! ”

“The Doll House is a beautiful home. Nick and Nick thought of everything, from snacks to dog toys. I was really impressed by how immaculate the house was. The neighborhood is a quiet dead end street, which was awesome. If you’re traveling to the Waterford area, you will love the Doll House.”

“Clean, enjoyable stay. Curtains or shades would be helpful to block lights. Rug in front of sink needs to be secured to floor. ”

“Very clean and inviting cottage just steps from the beach”

“The house really sits on its beach with a rock surrounded natural pool at high tide. The weather was CRAZY with rain and wind. The house held the temperature and was comfortable as the temps dropped below freezing! FYI the 4th bedroom with the trundle bed hasn’t a door so hence not a lot of privacy. But we were all good friends;) it was a comfortable space for 5 women who were good friends”

“The house easily accommodated my friends and family for a weekend of relaxation. The place is very spacious with all modern amenities. We especially loved waking up to the gorgeous view of the lake in the back. The views were breathtaking. Would definitely consider going back. ”

“The property is exactly as described, if not even better! It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and roomy, and had everything we needed. We hit Mystic on a rainy long week-end but we didn't even mind because the house was so comfortable to just hang out there. The location is perfect so we could run to the great stores, restaurants, and Mystic Seaport in between rain showers. Also had great communication with the hosts. Would definitely recommend and would love to do many return……

His place is so cute with a mix of whimsical and really convenient touches. Our dog loved the yard, too! The neighborhood is gorgeous, too. We wished we had more time to explore the area and to take advantage of all the house has to offer. ”

“House is in the best location, a mile from Ocean Beach Park, full of privacy with great view. We had very good time and we will definitely come back. It was clean and as described. Minor things needs to be looked at is the AC which is not very powerful but it's not the end of the world and the fact that there is no hood above the range make the house smoky if you want to cook something because you can't open any window. Overall, we are very happy for staying here!!!”
