“The apartment is very well-appointed. Just about everything we needed was there. Lots of seating, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Easy walk to everything in town. I had missed in the listing that it is above a restaurant, but it worked out fine. I noticed the landlord even supplied a sound machine(I always bring my own!) and earplugs! Great place!”

Electric fireplace for that special atmosphere while hanging out in the living room. Super comfy mattresses. Shower with great water pressure and extra large head. “My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Riverbed Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable for the two of us and we loved the nautical/vintage decor. The location was perfect - within walking distance of everything in the downtown area. We enjoyed sitting out by the river in front of the cottage in the provided adirondack chairs - lovely view! Communication with our host was excellent. We highly recommend this cottage! ”

“The location (a block to Mystic town) is the highlight at this property. It was also very clean. We (two moms and their young adult daughters) enjoyed our stay here a lot! Criticisms would be that it needs updating (very old shower, old doors and floors,etc) and the floors are VERY slanted through the house. It takes some getting used to, but vacationers should know that before renting. ”

“We had a wonderful stay here. It started with comfortable and warm welcome with a note, warm apple pie, and the fireplace. We absolutely loved the the decorations, the true epitome of a traditional New England visit. Every accommodation was quality, from the bed to the towels. We even enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. “I was on small trip with my girlfriend for her birthday as she wanted to go to Mystic. The house was perfect size for both of us, had lots of history to the home with deco. Also the neighborhood lots of history and definitely a short walk to most things. Very Nice had Washed and Dryer to use as we were able to use and not bring home dirty laundry. We were able to go to everywhere we planned! Would definitely stay again! ”

“Perfect place to stay. Quick hop across the way to Gronton to see the Navy Submarine Museum and for graduation from A school. Property was just as pictured. Stairs took a second, but worth it. Beds were comfy. Pillows fluffy. Kitchen and living room space makes it far nicer than a hotel. Snacks and coffee were ready and waiting. I would definitely recommend!”
