“Great place in East Haddam”

“Beautiful property is in a safe walkable area near restaurants and shops. Off street parking was easy to find. Lovely garden path leads you to the front door. Interior flight of curved/circular stairs takes you up one flight to door. Maybe tricky for someone with mobility issues. Bedrooms and one bath were clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with the essentials including soaps, hair dryer and tissues. Kitchen was bright. Please note there is minimal counter space but well stocked……

“The location (a block to Mystic town) is the highlight at this property. It was also very clean. We (two moms and their young adult daughters) enjoyed our stay here a lot! Criticisms would be that it needs updating (very old shower, old doors and floors,etc) and the floors are VERY slanted through the house. It takes some getting used to, but vacationers should know that before renting. ”

We absolutely loved the the decorations, the true epitome of a traditional New England visit. Every accommodation was quality, from the bed to the towels. We even enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Debbie (and Paul too) did a great as hosts ensuring we had everything we needed. We are definitely excited to book another stay there. ”

“I was on small trip with my girlfriend for her birthday as she wanted to go to Mystic. The house was perfect size for both of us, had lots of history to the home with deco. Also the neighborhood lots of history and definitely a short walk to most things. Very Nice had Washed and Dryer to use as we were able to use and not bring home dirty laundry. We were able to go to everywhere we planned! Would definitely stay again! ”

“This was our first time staying at an Air B &B.It was a wonderful experience.The hotel instructions were extremely easy. It took a little bit to find the room number, but that was fine when you walk into the room is such a good smell like it was like being at home the room was super super clean. You had everything you needed. It was so cozy and the fireplace is just a bonus. I really felt like I was in my own home. “John’s apartment is lovely. It has the charm of a historical home (hello wide pine floors!) with the comfort and ease of more modern touches where necessary, like the bathroom and kitchen. Super clean and organized. We chose to eat out for every meal as we were only there for the weekend and there are so many great local spots, but the kitchen was large and equipped for whatever you’d like to cook. The location is GREAT. We walked to all of our favorite spots. Check-in and check-out took no time……
