“This was our fifth visit to our favorite place to stay in the Mystic area. It's combination of hospitality, comfort and affordability can't be beat. Debbie (and Paul) are so accommodating and even allowed us to plug in our Level1 EV charger to help us out. Just the kindest hosts. We recommend the Carriage House to all our friends. ”

“I was on small trip with my girlfriend for her birthday as she wanted to go to Mystic. The house was perfect size for both of us, had lots of history to the home with deco. Also the neighborhood lots of history and definitely a short walk to most things. Very Nice had Washed and Dryer to use as we were able to use and not bring home dirty laundry. We were able to go to everywhere we planned! Would definitely stay again! ”

“We stayed here to attend a wedding at the nearby River House and it was perfect. We were super close to the venue, the place was cozy but large enough to be comfortable and was clean. We cooked dinner and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We even walked to the Gelston House for a nightcap on their back deck. It was a great location and nice stay.”

“Beautiful property is in a safe walkable area near restaurants and shops. Off street parking was easy to find. Lovely garden path leads you to the front door. Interior flight of curved/circular stairs takes you up one flight to door. Maybe tricky for someone with mobility issues. Bedrooms and one bath were clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with the essentials including soaps, hair dryer and tissues. Kitchen was bright. Please note there is minimal counter space but well stocked……

“John’s apartment is lovely. It has the charm of a historical home (hello wide pine floors!) with the comfort and ease of more modern touches where necessary, like the bathroom and kitchen. Super clean and organized. We chose to eat out for every meal as we were only there for the weekend and there are so many great local spots, but the kitchen was large and equipped for whatever you’d like to cook. The location is GREAT. We walked to all of our favorite spots. Check-in and check-out took no time……

“Beautiful studio overlooking the Mystic River. Lovely area. 1 mile walk to downtown Mystic. The owners were very friendly and asked about our needs. Would stay again.”

“The place was clean BUT there were 3 of us and only one set of towels! Also I contacted the host THREE times requesting to check in early and never got a response. Lastly , there is a hot tub but some directions of where it is located in the complex would have been helpful. We had to ride around and look for it. We kept asking people but most people we saw were guests as well and did not know. At the exit you are supposed to take out the garbage but there is no instruction as to where the……

“The property was perfect for our weekend away! Overall the accommodations were clean, comfortable and well stocked. The only two notes are: The screen door is difficult to lock because of the keypad lock on the door.Also we didn’t realize the apartment was on the second floor which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for future guests. I think it should be mentioned for future guests.”
