“The cottage is a very small- one room studio with an uncomfortable sofa bed . We could feel the frame of the bed while lying down. Once the bed was open there was hardly any space to walk around to get to the bathroom or kitchen area. The shower was a 2.5 ft square and off the kitchen The review didn’t make it obvious that there was only a sofabed and no dedicated bedroom Now when I read the description I see they never said there was a queen size bed or a double bed instead it’s cryptically……

“As far as location this place is spot on. Right in the heart of everything with tons of parking. The apartment was clean with a nice layout. We loved the modern feel! Our only complaint was how loud this place was. Between the different sounds from the fan, heat and tapping through out the night. We were able to hear the people down the hall and certainly the people upstairs. If we didn’t hear it all throughout the night I would have left this out completely but it certainly became annoying……

“Spacious, clean, modern, nice furnishings, all the housekeeping amenities you could wish for, comfortable seating, easy temperature control, beautiful & quiet setting, lots of birdwatching. I was expecting just a bed and bathroom, but found much more.”

“The apartment was clean and we had all the things we needed for a long weekend to go to the NY Sheepand Wool show in Rhinebeck. Very close to trails and we had nice restaurants nearby in Tannersville. Would be great for a ski weekend at Hunter.”

“Beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Lovely clean linens, etc. only issue was the very steep stairs to bathroom and living spaces. Several stairs are breaking and the rail is disconnecting from the wall in the middle. Also, adorable kitchen table top not secured to bottom. Shifts a bit if you are not aware. Lovely stay though!”

“Overall this was a decent property… I read the other reviews and my expectations were set and this met them. Overall it was clean, comfortable, and communication from the person/company managing it was good. I would recommend this rental to most people with a few notes… *There is off-street parking which is good, but it’s a little odd for Units 1 and 2 in that you may need to back out of a fairly narrow curved driveway. Not a problem but something to note… I could see it being confusing or……
