“Een heerlijk verblijf in het cottage van Carina&Victor. Huis is zeer verrassend en comfortabel. Met smaak ingericht. Bushalte is dichtbij en binnen een half uur sta je in het centrum van Edinburgh. Ideaal dus! Eigenaren hebben drie prima restaurants in bezit. Dat maakte het nog mooier.. Dat maakte het nog mooier”

“When we walked into this property we were excited at the unique elegance of the interior of this flat. It was ideally located near reataurants and pubs to enjoy. We also used the tram (5 pounds per person per day for unlimited trips) which allowed us to get to Old town Edinburgh in 3 wtops to St. Andrew square. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great.”

“The property had a few drawbacks during our 4-day stay in Scotland. While the overall experience was generally positive, there were a few areas that could use improvement: The beds were not very comfortable. They were two separate single beds pushed together rather than a proper double/queen bed. This caused the beds to shift and separate during the night, disrupting sleep. Additionally, the beds were at slightly different heights, which was awkward. Sound insulation from the ceiling was poor.……

“Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Portobello. The house was great and there a number restaurants, pubs, stores nearby. Portobello provides a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh, but all of the iconic sites in Edinburgh are only a quick bus ride away. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back in the future.”

“Tastefully decorated cottage, ideal for two. There is a second bedroom upstairs, however, there is no door and so it is exposed to sounds from downstairs.The patio is excellent with a choice of seating and wonderful view.”

“The property is of high specification. Situated in centre of Elie with short walk to beach shops and local pub. Easy access to Fife coastal roads. Must try the local bakery. ”

“The apartment was nicely updated, decent location in a beautiful Scottish fishing village. The owner was available by phone on a couple of occasions. Check-in would have been simpler with detailed information on how to work the door handle. Also, detailed description on how to use the washer/dryer combo would have save us time and the owner energy costs.”

“A perfect cottage in a lovely courtyard. I walked the dogs every day down to the harbour. We had five days of glorious sunshine and made use of all the various shops on our street. Love to return.”
