“The room is quite small, very basic. But the price is reasonable. That is convenience for traveller with car.”

“Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a lovely and clean room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The bar is cosy and offers plenty of choice. We felt right at home. ”

“We had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. ”

It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.”
