“Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers. Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food. Not much to do in the area, with a pub nearby and some local……

“We were greeted by extremely friendly, helpful hosts who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our room was bright, pristine and beautifully presented. The honesty bar was lovely to come back to after our meal out. The room is grand and lots of interesting items to look at. Our night stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts we have ever had. If your thinking about booking a stay, don't think about it BOOK IT!!!!! You definitely will……

“Loved our 2 night stay there . We had a Junior Suite which was wonderful with sea view and Juliette windows which opened.. so just like having a balcony. However it transpired when we booked in that there are different types of Junior Suite. The one allocated to us was also wonderful with a separate living are but no Juliette windows . However the receptionist managed to change rooms so we got exactly what we wanted ( and thought we had booked!) Breakfasts were excellent. Buffet starters but……

“We had two rooms for 4 people. One room was the detached back cottage with two twin beds and a bit smaller bathroom that our older daughters used, and one room was upstairs with nice space and a very nice restrooms including modern shower my wife and I used. The location was perfect for our brief visit to see some of the St Andrews history and visit the Old Course. The provided breakfast was superb and we enjoyed talking with the staff.
