“Value for money”

“Comfortable beds, spacious bath, appeared to be recently remodeled. Excellent breakfast and wonderful staff. Would have given a 5 star rating except there were minor annoyances. In the third floor room, it is very easy to hit you head on the sloped ceiling when getting out of bed. Power outlets were somewhat inconveniently located and lights with with USB power ports did not work (or the switch to turn them on was not easily found). A nice touch was the towel heater in the bathroom but there……

“The bar is a big favorite among locals and worldwide golfers. Old Course right close. Very pleasant and very friendly. "Hotel operations" are run out of the bar. Pleasant and quiet room with single beds (golfers' pref, i'm sure) with updated bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Free parking for rental in public lot nearby.”

“I like Station hotels I’ve stayed in 5 but Carnoustie is the best , unfortunately on this occasion I took ill and they went over and above to assist me on a medical emergency, luckily everything was fine ,,, but regarding the hotel the food was first class the rooms are spotless , will be back in the near future ”

“Amazing stay. Historic house set in beautiful grounds. Amazing that they allow dogs also in such a nice place. Fantastic sand beaches right next to the hotel. Service was excellent, really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Breakfast was delicious…. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had. An EV car charging point would make this hotel even better as there’s hardly any around in the area and would be great for over night guests to charge whilst there. ”
