“If you are not a morning person, a stay at Lubec Cottage will make you one. Waking up to the sunrise outside the french doors of the master bedroom is just stunning! Our stay was exactly what we were looking for — quiet, relaxing, and much needed de-stressing. Hiking trails are 10-20 minutes drive away. “More then met my expectations! Pictures cannot show how beautiful this cabin and its grounds are! I arrived about 7:00 pm - just past sunset and when I went into the house a preachy-golden glow was coming through the large windows that face the bay. The paths that led to the other two cabins - which are a good distance away so we all have our privacy - were lit with lovely lights. “We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.”
