“This is a beautiful house with views of the water and quick access to the Alki beach area. The house was immaculate and spacious. Our children had fun claiming their bedrooms and running up and down the stairs. There were so many extras in this home: tons of board games, a record/radio player and a working fireplace in the dining room. Whenever we return to the Seattle area, we will definitely be staying here.”

“Great location, close to restaurants and the waterfront. Clean, well set up and good communication. Bedrooms/bathrooms are far enough apart to allow for privacy when you're traveling with close friends (but not *that* close). Would absolutely stay again!Please note that the garage entry is quite tight. Getting in is OK, but even with a mid-sized car with cameras, I needed my friend directing me out inch by inch to avoid running into the sides of the door or the cement wall that angles in towards……

“The place was easy to find, great location- within walking distance of a bunch of things. It is a basement and along with basements- come spiders. It would have been nice to have more than one towel to shower with, since it’s a basement- towels stay damp and didn’t dry out very well. It was a great place to stay for the week we were in Seattle. ”

“There are tons of windows and deck areas overlooking Puget sound. We saw orcas, dolphins, seals, river otters, and bald eagles all from the house. The house is built right on the water wall which is great for seeing animals and going on the beach. It is not great for cars. We drove the car down to load and unload but then parked at the neighborhood parking lot about a block away. The waves at high tide come right up to the top of the sea wall and if a cargo ship goes by it will shower your car……

“The directions from GPS take you to the end of a dirt road. There are no directions on the VRBO site or in the emailed directions to explain that. I had to call the owner to finally get an explanation, which was to walk down a gravel path to the house. All four of us are over 75! Hauling our luggage and bags of food were not in our plans! The photos make the home look much bigger and more modern than it actually is. The heating system is funky and the downstairs bathroom was pretty but always……

“To the beautifully designed space to the comfortable decor and the ease in which Andrew made us feel on checkin and during our stay this was an ideal place to base our explorations of Seattle. Sleep was easy coming and relaxation was at our fingertips. Highly recommended not just for the space but for the welcoming host.”

“Stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful little gem. Took my Mom to a Bluejays game in Seattle on Mothers day weekend. She absolutely loved the suite. Everything was great, rooms were nice tiny galley kitchen was perfect, all good. Only worry was the parking is tight. I had a full-size truck and it just fit, was tight to turn around on dead end road. But as long as your not driving a super duty you should be fine. Highly recommend, the views are awesome.”

“We used this as a second location for housing my family for a get-together (we live nearby). It's a beautiful property and location. The pictures are exactly what you'll see when you get there. Easily walkable around the neighborhood. Property management was in contact with us continuously.”

“Stay was good. Could have had better cooking items but overall it was good. The area was a little sketchy for me but once I got inside I was pleasantly impressed. Old place but well kept and some updates. I was shocked to see a neighbor with a goat when I first arrived but my stay was good. Thanks for allowing us to use your space ”
